Who We Are

The Past

Operation Blessing was started by Rachel Sparkowich in 1978. Her heart was moved with compassion when she met a family living in extreme poverty. She had no idea how that initial decision to help would lead to such a legacy of compassion and a future of transformation for so many.

The Present

Today, Operation Blessing is run by Tammy Joslyn. Once a client here, she now leads the ministry with a heart to serve people, while possessing an understanding of their situations that not many people have.

The Future

While Operation Blessing has come far in the last few years, we have by no means stopped moving forward. We are always adding to our volunteer staff in order to be able to reach more people in more ways.

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer or community partner?

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; naked and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me."

Matthew 25: 35 - 36
